West Valley Water Treatment Plant
West Valley Water Treatment Plant expands critical treatment infrastructure while creating a dedicated operations environment that brings technical, administrative, and employee spaces together within one cohesive facility.
Owned by West Valley Water District, the project combines a 7,696 SF filtration building with a 2,685 SF operations building designed to support both plant processes and day-to-day staff functions. The pre-engineered metal filtration building provides large clear-span spaces and oversized roll-up doors for equipment access and maintenance, while the operations building houses a laboratory, SCADA and PLC rooms, offices, a breakroom with kitchen, employee facilities, and an education and training center. Contrasting metal cladding, stucco volumes, stone accents, exposed structural elements, and generous glazing distinguish the public-facing operations spaces from the more utilitarian treatment areas, creating a unified civic-industrial campus that supports both infrastructure and the people who operate it.
