Ontario Water Treatment Plant — Well 37 & 39
Ontario Wells 37 & 39 Water Treatment Plant pairs highly technical water infrastructure with a durable, straightforward architectural expression designed around long-term operation and maintenance.
The approximately 1,992 SF CMU facility houses treatment equipment and chemical systems alongside an office, storage area, generator room, and electrical room. Its simple gabled form and metal roof create a compact, utilitarian building envelope, while tan masonry and horizontal textured CMU bands give the exterior depth and a cohesive civic-industrial character. Large service openings and direct connections to exterior tanks, piping, valves, and treatment equipment support efficient access for daily operations and maintenance, allowing the architecture and process infrastructure to function as an integrated system.
